Latin summer school in Rome
The association intends to organize an eighteen-day spoken Latin course starting from July 15, 2024 until Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
the course is intended both for those who have never studied the language and for those who already have knowledge of any level and want to learn to speak it. based on what is declared at the time of registration, pupils will be placed in the appropriate level group (a change of group will be possible if deemed necessary by the teachers at the time of the classes).
Program
Classes will be held from Monday to Saturday in the morning hours from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. there will be learning support activities: assistance from teachers in carrying out exercises and their correction and playful activities for consolidation of knowledge and practice of the spoken language. classes will be held in classrooms located in Rome (the location of the classrooms will be provided in the months prior to the courses).

On the two Sundays of July 21 and 28, the association will organize two excursions entirely in Latin to locations of historical and archaeological interest in or near Rome.
Participation in these excursions is optional and therefore not included in the price quoted but to be paid separately. It should be communicated on the first day of classes.
Further information regarding the excursions (destinations, prices, durations, etc.) will be provided on the same first day of class. Those who do not wish to participate will be free from all activities for that day.
IMPORTANT: The association does not provide room and board; The course will be held only if a minimum threshold predetermined by the association is reached
